PRACTICING: for a midsummer's night dream! i didn't get hermia, but titania is still a pretty cool role. i mean, i'm a fairy queen, for god's sake. not shabby at all.

MISSING: my dad.

READING: only ten books this month. we're reading little women in english class, and it's been taking up a lot of time.

SHOPPING: for back-to-school supplies. i got a lil watermelon pencil case and it's the cutest thing ever <3

TRYING: out for a local production of a midsummer night's dream. my dream role is hermia, but any other one will do!

READING: seventeen books this month.

best: radio silence. worst: queen of hearts.

WEARING: a navy blue sweater, gold necklace, jeans, and boots.

GOING: to the fair! alice and mom and i went last weekend. we rode the ferris wheel, petted the goats, and ate way too much funnel cake. xD

EATING: the pad thai from my favorite noodle place. <3

DISCOVERING: a little secret garden in my neighbor's backyard. there's a trellis and two rocking chairs and rows upon rows of sweet peas. alice and i spent all yesterday afternoon out there reading <3

WATCHING: just started the good wife. i avoided it for so long because of how sexist it sounded, but i'm only a couple episodes in and i'm already madly in love <3

MAKING: crafts with alice's girl scout group.

CELEBRATING: my cat's birthday. she turned eleven and we threw her her own party.

WANTING: to take off with my friends on a road trip. all i want is our laughter and the open road and tunes blaring from the car radio. 

READING: fifteen books this month.

best: the stars at oktober bend. worst: the glittering court.

WEARING: my macbeth t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

SAVING UP FOR: theoretically, college. but i've been setting aside some money for that amazing truck i saw at the second-hand dealer's - it's a dream made of stardust, beautiful but so easy for the winds of reality to blow away, but a dream nevertheless. and what's the use of dreams if we don't try to make them real?
